In the week of the 99th anniversary of the
Armenian Genocide, different Argentinean football clubs showed their solidarity with the cause and showed banners in tribute before each game.
Club Atletico Boca Juniors, the most popular in the country, showed the banner before the beginning game against Arsenal de Sarandi on Sunday 27.
Last year, Boca also had this gesture.
The two biggest clubs in the Province of Cordoba also joined the initiative of the
Armenian Youth Federation with banners calling to "
remember the Armenian Genocide":
Talleres de Cordoba in the victory against Patronato on Sunday 20, and
Belgrano de Cordoba in the draw against San Lorenzo de Almagro on Saturday 26.
