Anti-discrimination body of Argentina takes the issue of denialism to Entre Rios

The National Institute Against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI), the anti-discrimination state institution of Argentina, along with the Delegation of Argentine Israelite Associations (DAIA) and the Armenian National Committee of Argentina presented a lectures entitled "Denial as a form of discrimination" to the cities of Parana and Basavilbaso, in Entre Rios province of Argentina, from Thursday 26 to Friday 27 April.

The dissertations, which were presented by the Director of Policies against Discrimination of INADI, Ariel Isaak, Julian Schvindlerman, political advisor of the DAIA, and Nicolas Sabuncuyan, director of the Armenian National Committee of Argentina, were attended by the head of INADI, Claudio Presman, and national and provincial authorities. The talk in Parana was declared of interest by the Deliberative Council of the Municipality of the provincial capital and the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Nation called to participate in the activity.

On December 15, 2017, the three institutions had presented the talks sponsored by the Secretary of Human Rights and Cultural Pluralism of Argentina, where they announced that it would be a federal project that would be extended to different parts of the country. The province of Entre Rios adhered to the National Law 26,199 that officially recognizes the Armenian Genocide in May 2016.
